“This switch may be a large price increase for your ERP Solution”.“Microsoft will most likely be migrating you to a new part of Dynamics in the new year”.“Dynamics GP is being deactivated by Microsoft”. “Microsoft will not be supporting Dynamics Great Plains in 2020”.“Funny” enough, some of their clients have received FAKE information from other vendors including statements like the following: The truth is if you want to work with someone that is truthful and simply providing you with a product with a Roadmap and a partner that delivers services based on best practice where upgrades are delivered automatically then Is Dynamics GP GOING ANYWHERE! Having read the "what happens next statements" from a gold partner I'd be concerned that the software is now on a one-way path in the direction of Microsoft's code shredder and having an opinion doesn't necessarily make me a doom monger nor someone that's selling! I'm happy to ask questions, but the truth of it is Microsoft isn't talking they have not provided evidence about anything other than the fact that patches and upgrades will be offered annually. Last week I wrote a white paper about is your ERP at a dead end? I sold Great Plains Dynamics before Microsoft bought the business some 20 years ago and had many customers using the solution which was revolutionary at the time.
